What's On

We regret that on Government advice we have suspended services and meetings in the church. We are using an online e-service each week based on a document containing music videos, readings, prayers and brief thoughts. Please join us in our virtual services by downloading the e-services at the bottom of this page.

Please feel free to contact us for prayer or any questions via our email address.

11:00 Morning Service

About an hour long, this service is often led by one of our visiting preachers. We sing a mixture of modern and traditional hymns, have a time of prayer and a sermon on a biblical topic. Communion on the third Sunday of the month.

6:30pm Evening Service

Similar to the morning service and usually led by a member of our church. We have tea/coffee after the service. Communion on the first Sunday of the month.

7:45pm Rejoicing Together Choir - rehearsal at the church

The Rejoicing Together Choir is an informal choir made up of Christians from various denominations, in and around Alton. We prepare a programme of songs and words for Easter and Christmas, that we present at care homes and the community hospital in Alton. We welcome all levels of singing ability, so if interested in joining please email contact@altonbaptist.org.uk for details.

7:30pm Small Group Meeting - at the church - Having a break until Jan 8th 2020

A time to chat, pray together and have a discussion on a biblical topic. A good way to get to know each other better and share our thoughts and experiences in a Christian context.

Fridays - Christianity Explored Course

Next course starts - to be defined - at the church

What is Christianity? - It is all about one life, the life of Jesus.

Who is Jesus? Why did He come? What does it mean for us?

Using short video presentations and informal discussions we consider these and other questions. For more information see Christianity Explored

If interested in joining please email contact@altonbaptist.org.uk for details.

Last Friday of the Month

(Except December and Good Friday)

8:00pm Prayers Together in Alton & District

This is held in a different church each month on a rota basis. It is attended by Christians from different denominations who want to pray specifically for Alton and the surrounding area. The style varies slightly depending on which church is leading the meeting. Contact us for venue details.

Social Events

We hold various social events, including a church barbecue and occasional sailing trips.
